No not at all! The complete opposite actually. I adore Taylor Swift. It’s the majority of her fans I don’t like and some of her friends. They put her on this pedestal that no person can ever hope to live up to or they worry too much over things that are frankly none of their business. One day, she’s going to make a mistake (and she is human, it will happen) and all these little fans are going to absolutely flip out and the backlash could be devastating. I’ve seen it happen to far too many truly talented singers.

Taylor is a wonderful example of class and it’s nice, in a world of Rihannas and Britneys, to have someone who is not overtly sexual but still focuses on basic human emotions. I’m older than the majority of her fan base and I still relate to her songs. She’s not the best singer in the world but her songs are better than most on the radio, especially the ones that aren’t singles. So no I don’t hate her. I would love to know where that came from or what made you think that.

Ok, this deserves it’s own special fangirl moment and I don’t have these often.

First, I love the movie, Newsies. It was my original obsession and still holds a special place in my heart.

After reading that the Disney back catalog was coming out on blu ray and since it is the movie’s 20th year anniversary and the runaway success of the Broadway show this year, I couldn’t believe they wouldn’t release this on blu ray.

So I looked on Amazon.com for fun and Lo and behold!
